What is a Stage Experience?

The Stage Experience continues to grow from strength to strength. Over 200 young actors/band members/backstage members audition every year and about 140-150 of them join us for a two week workshop and put on the professional West End show to audiences of 4,000 members of the public.  

Not only are there parts for performers, we will also have  parts for band members as well as backstage. 

Summer Stage Experience is a 2-week musical theatre summer school for 8 – 18 year olds. During the two weeks participants learn all their songs, dances and lines from a professional Director, Musical Director, Choreographer and Backstage Crew – and then perform on the main stage to audiences of over 4000! 

Our theatre staff scooped a National award in 2004 for ‘Team of the Year’ for efficient organisation and management of the scheme.
